My heart rate lights don’t work. I’ve removed Versa from app, removed app from phone, reset versa and restored the watch to factory settings. I’ve cleaned the back of watch, cleaned my arm and lights still don’t flash. Also doesn’t receive calls or notifications.

You can chat with customer support. They'll give you a 25% discount on a new device (but naturally not on a device I actually wanted). I had the same thing happen. No HR readings, no sleep readings, then it started recording random exercises when I was sleeping. I've had the device 13 months. So, basically a waste of money. time to look for another smart watch.

I still don’t understand how dare they ask us to pay for a new product when the original is faulty at the first place.

there isn’t really much that can be done, specially if you done all the steps in restoring it. They basically told me that they would give me 25 or 50 price off my next purchase but honestly I would like it if they would replace it instead... that’s just my experience tho...

Ya I’m sorry that was rude I was just really emotional because my parents just got divorced. They’re making me choose who I want custody with and each of them threatened to disown me if I don’t choose them. It’s honestly kinda a mess but on the bright side my new Fitbit just came in the mail!!

I'm buying an Apple Watch for myself for Christmas. My Fitbit Blaze is only good for steps and receiving notifications all other functions stopped working and the buttons haven't worked for a while. Fitbit support is non existent. Wasted over $300 on my watch.

That’s what I did. At least I know support won’t be limited to canned answers and my personal data sold like a mere commodity

Same happened to me! Heart rate and sleep tracking both suddenly stopped one day. I contacted customer support and followed all the troubleshooting instructions... factory reset and all...to no avail. I had the watch for under 18 months, but unfortunately for over the one-year warranty period. Fitbit's response was basically "Sorry to hear that, here's 25% off select Fitbit devices." I felt really disappointed in the Versa and Fitbit's response. This seems like a pretty big issue that has me feeling wary of purchasing another Fitbit product. These watches aren't cheap. It's reasonable to expect them to last a while for the price. I'd rather not have to fork out $150+ every year for a new one because their product mysteriously stops working.

Yeah...this was my second device in three years that failed without much acknowledgement or compensation from the company. I felt like I was just throwing money at the company. I ended up getting an Apple Watch instead. Not my preference, but when Fitbit treats you like this...

I am now having this same issue also!!
I did the firmware update last week and since that my heart rate is being recorded at excessive levels!
Fitbit have told me they are 'investigating this emerging issue' and to keep my eye on the app for updates. But reading this forum i feel like they have been investigating for over 1 year now.
Ive asked for an update on how long it will take and they 'dont know that detail' and ive asked how many records they have of this issue and they 'dont have that information'
What an absolute joke, How can they just break our watches and then do nothing to help us?
It was working perfectly before the update and now its completely pointless me using it.
Really disappointed with Fitbit, What a con!!

My lights aren’t working on the back of my watch and it’s not tracking my heart rate. Any suggestions? Just got for Christmas

It’s a major bug affecting the Versa that Fitbit won’t admit. Lucky, you should be still under warranty. I would suggest contacting the customer service and have it replaced.

Fitbit Versa laser light is out & no longer tracks heart rate. I have looked online for remedies & have tried resetting numerous times. I have done factory reset, removed & added to app. Still not working.
