Versa heart rate monitor stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had the Versa 18 months.  Last week, the heart rate monitor stopped working.  I have:

cleaned it

did countless shutdowns

checked the heart rate in the settings-tuned it off and on after syncing

did 3 factory resets

I have pretty much did everithing I have found on line.  I called Fitbit Friday and they were not helpful at all-basically-there is nothing we can do-here is a coupon for 25% off your next Fitbit-which again was ridiculous considering they were still cheaper on Amazon.

Does anyone have any other advice? The Heart Rate monitor is so important to my workouts and I am just so disappointed this has failed.

@Dalton0918, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa stopped tracking your heart rate. I'm also sorry to hear that it's no longer under warranty.

The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of first setup. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.

I'll be around if any question arises.

What does this reply even mean?  I am looking for solutions by Fitbit.  Not to be patronized about a product that clearly is not working correctly.  This happened after an update last week.  I feel like the only  responses I am getting is-oh, sorry our product doesn't work after one year.  That is unacceptable.  From all the concerns I found on-line, this is clearly a problem that Fitbit does not seemed concerned about correcting.

Same problem with mine as well. Worked fine until latest firmware update. File a complaint with the FTC. If enough people inform the trade Commission perhaps they will apply some pressure to this poorly developed product.
