My one year old Versa stopped heart rate tracking completely, after recent firmware update. Since then i tried to restart/reset/off-on sync..etc it but no use. Occasionally heart rate tracking turns on for few seconds after restart and then stops. Raised request but meanwhile anyone was able to resolve it?

Since no resolution or replacement offered by fitbit, i kept experimenting and below fix worked to some extent. For Fitbit app on my android phone, i cleared the app cache/data, from playstore updated app again, enabled all permissions from phone settings. Then heart rate monitor started working 🙂
Reading are not very consistent but at least working.

Now it stopped again. What is it with versa? I see so many issues reported in this forum regarding heart rate issues. Fitbit denied replacement nor any other way to fix this. I feel bad about why I put my hard earned money to buy that watch..

Since all these issues started after last update, i wonder why Fitbit not sending new update with fix, or was it intended to leave old devices broken so that...

I had the same issue and was offered a discount on new Fitbit but did not include new watches. That being said, why would I want to put more money into a product that appears to have stopped working after their latest update with so many others having the same problem. I don't trust in Fitbit anymore.

With latest firmware update, sensor started working, so definitely not the hardware problem but after a day it stopped working again. So issue seems to be with their software which fitbit not resolving
