My new Versa is great but the heart rate monitor does not seem to work. The videos say there is a blue light but mine has not blue light in the back?
Is mine just broken, should there be a blue light HR monitor?

If you put an epoxy sticker over the hr sensor it will work with your tattoo wrist. No clue why it works. Just know it does.
Something like this is why I'm referring to.
50 Pcs. Clear Round Epoxy Stickers - Various Diameters Between 6mm and 76mm - Self Adhesive (0.25 inch (6.4 mm)) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AIDHF8I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_GWRgBb3QDBHX9

I also have a sleeve on my left arm. The heart rate has not worked well. After reading your post I moved it to my right dominant arm and it works perfectly. Never had an issue with my charge2. What if a person has two sleeves? Fitbit needs to fix this issue!!!

The versa is garbage. I have given up on Fitbit.

Mine quit working also. I got in working again by doing factory reset and then letting it update which took about one hour. It has been a few days and appears to be okay now.

Good choice to pass on the Versa. I had same experience. Worst Customer Service ever. When will they acknowledge there is a problem with the Versa and steps the false advertising. The BPM does not work.

I gave up on fitbit since returning my versa. I waited after returning it to see if I wanted anything else from the fitbit line (or to hear better news about the versa), but I ended up realizing I want a more simple style geared towards the slightly more serious above average active person, so I went with Garmin. Plus, following the forums here, it still seems the same issues are occurring - and I've upped my workouts, so garmin's data tracking just helps me more in general. And! the band doesn't irritate me.

Had mine 2 months was fine for 1st 2 weeks then hr monitor went mad. Constant green flashing lights even when I'm not wearing it. Apparently I'm doing 600+ minutes of high intensity exercise per day and burning super amounts of calories. Obviously not the case - contacted fitbit on every platform available and just keep being told they are aware of problem and working on it. No offer of replacement considering it's not fit for purpose, just a glorified watch which I didn't want. Wanted something to accurately monitor my stats. Very mad and disappointed but have no clue about next move. Any ideas anyone?

I have a tattoo on my left wrist. That appears to be a problem though I'm not sure why it would be. If I turn the face so that it goes in the inside of my wrist, I get hb with no problem but I don't find it as comfortable. I had no idea a little tattoo would be such a problem for an electronic device!
