Mine has done the same thing.  Turned off/on, reset, factory reset it.  Nothing has worked.

Put me in the loop to fix mine too, please.

Hello!

I am also having the same issues with my Versa. Last week it stopped syncing my steps in my challenges and app (this wasn't the first time). I reset it and reinstalled it on my phone, and since the BPM has not worked. No green light sensor, not even the --. I have tried resetting it multiple times and followed the suggestions of this thread. Please help! It's not even a year old 😞

I've had no luck with mine. Not very old either. Hoping to find some
resolution.

If I come up with anything, I'll let you know. I'm at a standstill as
well. Hoping fitbit has a working solution.

I gave up and got the Versa 2. And with it I can do the same activities I normally do and in general end up with significantly less steps than I used to get with my Versa. It seems to go to sleep or something when I stop moving, and won't wake up until I've walked a certain distance.

Like just now, I've been sitting at the computer and got up and walked around the downstairs and looked at my steps and nothing advanced. After typing this, I checked again to see if it decided to have a delayed response, but I got nothing. Zero steps after walking around my living room and kitchen and back.

So don't think getting a new Fitbit device will solve problems, just give you new ones. Or at least not getting a Versa! The original Charge I had worked well and is my backup device for every time something else fails. The ChargeHR worked well until it lost its ability to be charged. My Versa started dying after the first year, conveniently right after the warranty, and this Versa 2 is terribly inaccurate and ignores steps, but since it generally works I doubt the company would do anything about it. At least the heart rate works well enough to give me sleep data. So I guess I just need to lower my expectations.

Hi There!

I received my versa 2 on June 20th and the HR has stopped working as of this evening as week. I did try the listed troubleshoot recommended but still not heart rate. Has a fix been created for this 😕

Thanks,

Judie

I am having this issue with the versa 2. It started with my daily activity not being tracked no matter how many steps and now my HR won't show up just shows the --. I am getting really annoyed now

Wow! That sucks! I was gonna just get the versa 2 because my versa hr “green light” stopped working a few weeks ago. So it’s not tracking my sleep or heart rate period! I’ve never had this problem with my other fitbits. I’ve reset, but since the light isn’t on, it’s not a reset that’s gonna fix the problem. I’m thinking of getting an Apple Watch instead if there is no solution.

That's what happened to mine. The light on the back isn't working. I'm going to try calling them today because I've only had it for 6 months. Apparently it's common for this to happen lately from what I've read.

I contacted the support team through live chat. They walked me through an easy fix!

I don't even get the option to contact them through chat. Only community posts and Twitter. It won't even let me call them.

I went through the same with no luck. Mine was just a few days short of
being out of warranty and they replaced. I went through the customer
support.

exactly same issue has occurred.  Sadly, this is the 3rd Versa I've had in 2 years.  First one same heart rate sensor failure after 8 months, fitbit replaced.  Then the replacement display graphics corrupted (lovely striped screen graphics!) after 3 months.  After MUCH discussion Fitbit finally agreed to replace again.  In their words - "last time".  Now 9 months later, exact same HR sensor failure --absolutely no green light.  Have tried ALL of the suggestions once again.  Check all settings, Restart, Restore factory settings, reconnect -- but its the same issue.   As demonstrated in this thread and multiple earlier ones -- its clear that Fitbit has some major device quality issues.  Maybe the Versa 2 corrects --- but I'm unwilling to try once again.  I originally selected Fitbit for battery, price, swim and sleep functions --- but if a device can't last 3 months with moderate use (daily office work wear, running and cardio/strength workouts 4-5 times/week, occaisonal lap swimming) --- then its a poor purchase regardless.   Its clear that they only can ever offer a 1 year warranty as device quality can barely meet or fails around that point.

I have the Versa 2 now and they're replacing this one too. This is the third time they've had to replace a Fitbit for me. The first was the Versa and it stopped charging. The second time was the same replacement versa and it would no longer sync with my phone. This time is the heart rate sensor in the versa 2. I'm thinking they just have overall issues with all their devices.

I agree completely. This is my first Versa (Versa 2)  but I went through 3 Zips that all failed the exact same way. I thought that maybe quality was linked to the price since at the time it was their entry level product but it seems I was wrong. I've just sent the defective product back for a replacement so lets see what happens. Ive already concluded that my next fitness tracker will probably just be an apple watch.
