Versa heart rate reading too high

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It started yesterday, I’ve cleaned it and restarted my Versa a few times the heart rate monitor keeps more than doubling out of nowhere. How do I fix this? It’s never done this before.

I have had the same problem. Either my heart rate is too high (160bpm at rest!) or it is unreadable.  Only started on Friday. Fitbit support just said they would look in to it and have not provided any sollutions. Hopefully it is just a software glitch and they will solve it soon.

Mine too! Mine just started acting up Monday (10/8/2018), when my versa couldn't get a read at all, but then I restarted it, and at first, the read was normal, but then like 3 minutes later it skyrocketed. Not sure what the deal is, I tried cleaning the reader on the back but to no avail.

Hi Alejandra,

I have already tried all those fixes and they haven't worked. I had a long circular conversation with the Twitter interface regarding this issue and all these were suggested.

This is something that only started on Friday and there were no changes to how I was using the Versa compared to previously.

Thanks

Colm

@stephlund @colmpbyrne @Redis @adams.holly , Would I be correct in assuming that you are using the latest firmware, released something like a week ago? (see pinned thread in this forum)

No I am still using 32.32.10.15 as the new firmware update hasn't been made available to me yet so it is something else.

Hi!
I’m not sure if it’s related to reading too high, but now my Fitbit’s display won’t light up. Like, it is still reading my heart rate, but I just have to check the app to see it. The screen glitched for like 30 seconds, then stopped working all together. No changes to anything I was doing when it happened, no water damage previously or anything. I tried turning it on then turning it back off, but since the screen won’t light up I’m not sure it did anything.
