No as the history post from others, after 1 year or so it just stops working. Also it doesn't stay charged any more either. Sad because I liked my FITBIT.

Unfortunately there's nothing else you can do. If it's under warranty it can be replaced, otherwise you'll need to pay for another one.  I switched to a Samsung fitness device and have been happy with it so far.

Same with me as well. No light in Fitbit. Tried everything, restarting, resetting, toggle etc. No avail. What support is available for this.. is it a waste device now?

Be sure to do it before the 12 month warranty is up. They'll replace it for you while its under warranty,  but you're on your own after that, despite the fact that it is obviously a quality issue with them. Good luck!

Yeah mine never corrected itself and I got tired of it. I just purchased a Apple Watch. Thank you and good riddance and good luck.

I never did get mine working, unfortunately it's a wasted device for me.

If it has been less than 12 months since you purchased it, you may be able to replace it under warranty.  If not, they may offer a discount on purchasing a new one.  After having 2 quit working in 19 months,  I switched to a samsung device.  So far, so good.

Thank you for the information. I have been through 3 now that have all been
past the warranty period. I will check out the Samsung.

Okay so this happened to mine.  I rubbed the back WHERE THE LIGHT SENSOR IS  and tapped it several times... it came back on.  It isn't permanent so i keep my eye on it but it does come back on.  Also, if you power off your phone then turn it back on it will sometimes pick up some sleep details if you don't see them in the morning after it syncs.  Keep it charged... seems to help signal strength.  It all sounds crazy perhaps. I didn't want to replace $ so had time to mess around worth different things.   Rubbing back of it really did work.

Rub back where light is and tap it several times against your arm... mine came on.   Isn't permanent you have to do it again but at least it comes back on.

I have tried all the recommendations and my sensor will still not light up nor show any HR tacking.

Please help!

I wish I could help, however unless it is under warranty,  you'll have to pay to replace it.  I am so disappointed with the quality of the fitbit.  I replaced mine with a samsung fit...less expensive,  and im happy with it.  Good luck.

Thanks Lisa, I purchased the iwatch since I owned the iPhone. But you are correct the Fitbit is not to dependable to last much longer than the warranty.

True.

After working with Support, I was told my watch was apparently defective and not under warranty anymore.

I never was able to get mine working either. I've been looking into a
Samung, I've had people suggest that to me.

Hello, I'm having this same issue. I'm also getting the "--" after resetting my versa, turning off and on the HR rate tracker, and rebooting in between as well. I primarily use it for sleep tracking so.... heart rate is important for me unfortunately.

I’m sorry to hear that Becki,

I chose the Iwatch since I had an iPhone I have to charge it about every day but I like it.

Versa HR sensor stopped working a few days ago, tried shutdown and factory reset to no avail. One bad Versa is enough for me, don't think I want to spend more money on a highly defective product.

Apple Watch seems tempting although I seldom wear watch these days, being stuck at home mostly.
