I received my replacement exactly 3 weeks ago. Today the heart rate sensor stopped working. This is ridiculous!!

Sorry 😞 it’s infuriating, I know. They still claim this is a rare situation even though there are new posts everyday with this same rarity.

My Fitbit versa sensor light is no longer working, I’ve tried rebooting it, deleting device and re loading it and it still does not work. It no longer tracks my heart rate and monitor my sleep. I miss that feature so much!

They are sending a replacement. I wonder if it is new or refurbished. I had the option of saving 50% off on new fitbit or replacement of my current fitbit versa.

I have a feeling they send refurbished replacements. They always die.

That stinks. We will see what happens. I bought my fitbit and only had it for 5 months so there shouldn’t be any issues with it this soon. 🙁

Same issue. I have tried both factory reset options and neither worked. I spoke with support and was told there was nothing I could do. They offered me the 25% discount, as well. I told them I highly doubt I will purchase another, as mine only lasted 15 months.

I was wondering why there wasn't an option to send it in for repair, instead of just buy a new one.

Oh....that's right, trick people into buying new. Make item last only until right out of warranty range!

Sorry, but support doesn't help. They walk you through the steps that everyone that knows how to google , ahs already tried.  Then they just offer a 25% discount to buy another one. How about Fitbit take responsibility for an obvious glitch? A product like this should last longer than 15 months with regular wear and no damage. Nope, make them last until right out of warranty, then BOOM, want you to buy a new one!

I have had my replacement just 3 weeks and instead of the problems I had with the original, I am having new ones!

They are literally scamming people. I don’t understand why such a large company can’t make this right.  They’ve been around a long time so you’d think they would want to keep a good reputation.  They are losing loyal customers in droves.  Why doesn’t that concern them?

What are the issues you are having?

Connecting to GPS, it either won't connect at all or it is intermittent so when I'm out running it won't track my whole run or distance which isn't something that was a problem with the original versa. And I love my versa and really don't want anything else to be wrong with it, but it is so frustrating when it won't do the job it is designed for. I am looking around for other options as I really like the Fitbit app and many of my friends have fitbits so I like the challenges, but I have the great North run in less than two weeks and need a tracker that works!

Hr scanner on the back of the watch face just stopped working. Versa stopped recording heart rate, sleep and was rarely capturing steps correctly. I kept my Fitbit one because of concerns with accurate tracking which showed the issue.

That’s a bummer. If I have issues I will probably look into getting an Apple Watch instead.
