Versa heart rate sensor not working

i had reset my devices, charge and try whatever step as mention and refer as previous topic but my sensor light not working at all after workout. Please help?

Have any of you tried Garmin? I am thinking of purchasing the Garmin Vivoactive. So frustrated and over this Versa heartrate tracking/ battery issue.

Have not heard of the Garmin's version. Not surprising, considering my age.

My first Versa, the front screen just came off one day. I only had it a few months. Fitbit replaced that watch with another Versa. The screen (knock on wood) has stayed put on this one.

Bluetooth syncing has become been very problematic for months and then several weeks ago the laser for the HR stopped working.

I rebooted, turned HR on and off with and without a reboot in between, and I cleaned it with no luck.
I did a factory reset that fixed the laser for 2 days and then it went away again.  AND After that factory reset the battery now only lasts 24 hours.

But Bluetooth syncing has been a lot better.....reset fixed 1 of the 3 issues... not a good ratio.

I did a factory reset again last night and the laser did not come back at all this time.

I do not want a 25% discount on the next model. I don't know if I can trust the quality the Versa 2 if the old issues cannot be resolved in the Versa 1. I want my Versa 1 fixed. It is fantastic watch when it works. 

Fitbit - if you want to keep customers loyal - do not rush new models out. Make sure your are producing high quality, reliable products that are not going to break down in a year. We want to stay loyal but will move on if quality does not improve.

I have gone back to using my Charge 2 until this is resolved. The older models seem to work better.

After reading all the problems with the versa, I do not want or have the
time to deal with it. Being 81 I will not recommend this to anyone. Thanks
for the input.

They will replace it if it is still under warranty and only for the remaining time on the original warranty; otherwise it's 25% off a new Versa. Bought my first one in January. The sensor went out in July which left only 5 months warranty on the replacement. I am curious to see how long this replacement last....will keep all posted.

I have done all of these steps provided multiple times. HR monitor and LeD still not working I'm ready to just throw in the towel.

If it's still under warranty Fitbit will send a replacement . I'd you purchased it from BestBuy with an extended warranty...New replacement!!!Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note9, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

Tried toggling the heartrate on and off and tried the reboot and yes in most cases i do get the "_" sign before it registers after a few seconds and nothing worked plse help 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I’m sorry, I understand your frustration. And sadly Fitbit (who does
monitor this thread because they’ve censored a post of mine) has offered
very little guidance or assistance. I have no new suggestions for you other
then to call them, speak with a representative, take names and keep
calling. Good luck

Maybe now that Fitbit is being purchased by Google things like this will get fixed instead of being ignores by Fitbit

Hi, the sensor light still not funtion. Its there another way to resolve the problem?

 

where is the service center at indonesia , Jakarta ? ...

Going back to my old Blaze shortly and invested in a garmin for backup very
disappointed in fitbit indeed!!! They r going to loose many loyal fans with
this glitch maybe they should stop worrying about their google venture and
worry more about their customers who are left high and dry!!!!
