@simplykaylene I find myself in the same situation. The annoying thing to s the replacement they give you is a refurbished one not a new one plus they make you go through hell trouble shooting when they already know what’s wrong with the watch. My sister and her hubby bought theirs same week as mine and they have had no issues. Fitbit should just own up to the fact that they have some bad one I mean a lot of bad versatility two out there and take responsibility. I am saving up to buy an Apple Watch for sure. Am done with Fitbit

@Adebimpe

I can’t believe how sketchy they are by giving refurbs as replacements, too!

Hi the sensors on the back of my Fitbit Versa no longer blink or light up, therefore the HR isn't working. I did the HR on and off and reboots, but nothing has helped. Please advise.

@PBandyOK

If you're still under warranty, they'll send you a replacement.  It will also die.

Sorry.

I went ahead and bought an Apple Watch. I knew that mine was not under warranty and I did not want to fix it. I think the new Fitbit versa 2, is a better watch maybe they might give you a discount since you were having this issue.

Hello Junita,

happy that you found something you like I like the Apple because it talks with my iPhone and I can respond to messages and to emails. I think the Fitbit versa 2 is a better watch that the versa 1. I did like the fact that you only had to charge it about every 4 or 5  fdays compared to the Apple about every day

I refuse to buy anything from Fitbit again.

If it's no longer under warranty write it off as a loss. Otherwise request a replacement.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note9, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

Absolutely nothing helps u can stop trying and take it back where u bought
it if u r lucky enough that it is still under guarantee... mine was out of
guarantee period and fitbit refused to replace it so i no longer use fitbit
i got myself a garmin instead ... no longer a loyal fitbit user

I totally agree with you

Hey my Versa’s green light won’t turn off despite having shutdown, factory reset, and unconneting Bluetooth, etc. I was wondering what was wrong.
It is also displaying the heart symbol with (- -) next too it. What can I do? Really bummed it’s not working. 😞

If you've had it under a year, they will replace it for you with a refurbished one. Otherwise,  you are screwed.  Get yourself a Garmin or Apple Watch. I got a Garmin Vivoactive on cyber Monday and I love it!

Mo_World,

Thanks for your response, You are correct I had a Fitbit before and they replaced it but it did not last. Then I got the Versa and heart rate stopped working so,I went ahead and bought the Apple Watch.

Jay_Des,

I have never seen this issue before. Have you tried holding the power button for a long period of time to see if it will eventually shut down, I would hold it for at least a minute. Hope you get something figured out.

All done with fitbit sick and tired of being on the losing end as my
versa’s sensor light just died after last upgrade ... paid a fortune for my
versa which is now useless and they refuse to replace it as it is out of
the guarantee period ... this is not on fitbit totally and utterly
disappointed in ur aftersales service as it was no fault of my own that the
watch doesnt work there are many other disgruntled versa users out there
having the same issue yet nothing is said or done about it ... then u have
the odacity to send me ad after ad to buy a new one???? Do u think i am
Donald Trump who can buy everything i desire at leasure??? Well i am not
fix my **ahem** versa or replace it thats all i want . Own up to ur balls up
its about time u break the silence and start acting on ur clients issues
after ur last miserable update that went horribly wrong ... goodbye fitbit
i am now rather supporting garmin instead thank u for nothing....

I have a $250 set of BOSE Sleepbuds that had to be replaced due to battery issues. My second set just started having issues. As I was Googling on how to troubleshoot I saw an article posted back in October stating that BOSE was discontinuing the Sleepbuds and offering a FULL REFUND through December 31, 2019. There was also a long yet awesome email of explanation and apology to it's customers. You can Google and read it. I was almost in tears.  Now THAT'S a company that truly cares about it's customers. Sent via the Samsung Galaxy Note9, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone

Yes it is. I’m very sad about the lack of customer service and care from a
company I been loyal to for years. Well it’s a new year coming and I’m
putting Fitbit behind me. I’ve had my Apple Watch for months now and have
been very satisfied.. Happy New Year to you, may it bring only good things
to you( no more fitbits!).

This is happening to me now as well.  I have tried to reset it and everything else that is recommended, but I am now 1 month outside the warranty.  With the cost of this device, it should last longer.  I am so disappointed and am not sure if I should just upgrade to an Apple watch now.
