Dear Fitbit,
Fitbit Versa green led light heart rate not won't turn off.

It's great to see you here @Venkatraman247.
Have you checked if your heart rate setting is set in "Auto" or "Off"? If you haven't, I recommend going to your settings directly from the Versa and check this.
Let me know the outcome.

I turned it to off. If I can’t turn off the light I will be forced to return my Versa. I was really looking forward to this to track swimming, but the heart rate sensor being not fully off will be a deal breaker.

@DawnC12 It looks like you'll be returning your Versa. It says in the manual:
"Note that the green LED on the back of Versa continues to flash even if you turn off heart rate tracking."
from page 41 on the manual at: https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_versa_en_US.pdf

That stinks. I really liked the Versa for other reasons. I had a Charge HR that when you turned off the heart monitor, the green lights stopped flashing. I had no issues after that. I will be calling customer service in the morning.
Given the fact that there are threads with complaints about pain caused to some people by having the heart rate monitor and lights that go back years, you would think Fitbit would have kept that as an option.
Unfortunately, if this is where they are going in the future, they will eliminate another segment of their users.
