Versa heart rate, steps and text notifications issues

My Fitbit versus heart rate stopped working. Did all that I was told on videos, nothing. We restarted it again, completely logged out of it. Restarted it nothing. Now my steps don't show on the watch. It tells me (undefined). And last cannot get text messages from my phone to the Fitbit. Help we have been with this for a week already.

Hi @Cesygonzalez65, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't track heart rate, steps and it won't receive text notifications. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch
  6. After this, try the steps listed in this help article in order to fix the heart rate tracking issue
  7. Finally, follow the troubleshooting tips that are included in this help page in order to fix the text notifications issue
