Versa high heart rate readings

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After the last time I charged my versa it constantly reads elevated heart rate levels between 135-170 even at rest , this then throws my stats with my fitness pal way out. Also the sleep log details are not registering in the correct way, I am wearing it correctly and am doing exactly the same things as I have been since I first purchased it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

regards Mel

This high heart rate reading thing just started for me on 08.03.19.  The month I've had it before this it worked perfectly.  I was at a water park when it started but just floating around a lazy river and I have gone to the water park every week since I received my Fitbit.  I believe the two are unrelated.

Has this been fixed yet? I just recently started to experience the same thing. My heart rate is between 125-170 all day, even while I'm sleeping. I tried restarting my versa and still have the problem.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to share your issue.  You are not the only one experiencing this issue and there are innumerable posts on this forum about the heart rate tracking problems.  Unfortunately FitBit now refuses to acknowledge the issue, and instead provides reasons or ‘fixes’ that basically imply that it works as long as you don’t use it for anything fitness related (ie. don’t sweat, don’t move, etc).

Also, I wouldn’t expect a fix anytime soon since FitBit is being acquired by Google and will be focused for the next months to year+ on switching over to Googles “wearable OS”.  Not to mention that the moderators statement above about a fix coming “soon” was posted over six months ago...
