Versa inaccurate heart rate and battery drains fast

hello,

In the last week, the heart rate accuracy has gone way down.  I'll be exercising, maintaining a high level and it is consistently low and drops while i maintain my speed.  A typical work out at a heart rate of 140-150 is now in the low 100s for the same workout.  Is there any thing I can do to improve it? I've only had it one month.  The battery life has also gone way down-I have to charge every two days where I used to be able to go a week.

@SaraSH102911, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not tracking your heart rate properly and the battery drains quickly.

 

Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, make sure your device is positioned correctly on your wrist: Also, tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist.

 

Regarding the battery draining issue, try the tips that are listed in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your watch. Finally, monitor your Versa and see if the issues get fixed.

Hello,

Thank you for the response.  I used another heart rate monitor in conjunction with my Versa 2, and the Versa 2 kept inconcsistently showing my heart rate.  I would be at 156 on the other device, and the Versa 2 was in the 120s.  It also will keep dropping while I consistently exercise, so it gets down in the 80s, while my other device shows 150s, then suddenly the versa will jump back up to 130s.  I noticed when i sweat more corrleates with the drops in readings, so does the versa have issues with sweat reading heart rate?  Either way, I am really dissapointed as my stats are all over the place and inconsistent when they shouldn't be.  anyway to fix this?
