Versa is deleting my calories burned and active minutes when I sync

Help - I've seen things similar on the forum but no clear answer.  I have a Fitbit Versa.  In the last week it started "deleting" my active minutes and significantly reducing my calories burned when I sync.   Just now I synced and went from 1198 cals to 690.  And like 25 active minutes to 0.  I've tried rebooting my watch.  Uninstalling the software from my phone and re-installing. This is highly aggravating - anyone seen/solved this?

Update: my versa is also not reporting my heart rate anymore. The watch is in great condition so I don’t understand why everything started failing.
