My sister bought the Versa a while back, but was barely using it.
So I asked her to borrow it. Before she gave it to me it was linked to her account, so she removed it. After that I did a hard reset. Leaving the Versa with a blinking Fitbit logo unable to connect. How can I fix this?

Hi, possibly the Versa is trying to do an update. Put your Versa in the charger and connect it to you computer and see what happens. If after 30 mins nothing happens, try this guide. Good luck!!

Sadly that is not the case. Hooking it up to the laptop results in sounds of connecting a device to it and disconnected. Time in between is quite long, and no notification regarding any update

@NoviceBJV Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't responding. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves while trying to set it up again. Make sure that your laptop is running Windows 10 or Mac OS and that it has an integrated bluetooth 4.0 or above chip.
Let me know how it goes!
