Versa is not receiving WhatsApp notifications

I just bought a fitbit versa however it won't automatically recognized whatsapp notification on my iphone 7 all other notifications are getting through just fine. I have checked the notifications and all are marked. And since the app shows that the apps will be listed as notifications gets to the phone but doesnt work i need some help.

Hi there @Ktherine, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for making sure that your Versa is receiving notifications from other third-party apps. Nice way to go!

I'd recommend to set up WhatsApp notifications again by following the steps below:

1. With your tracker nearby, from the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > Versa tile.
2. Tap Notifications. When you're prompted to pair Versa, follow the onscreen instructions. After you've connected your tracker, "Versa" will appear in the list of Bluetooth devices connected to your phone. Note that call, text, and calendar notifications are turned on automatically.
3. To turn on notifications from apps installed on your phone, including Fitbit and WhatsApp, tap App Notifications and turn on the specific notifications you want to see.
4. Tap Notifications > Versa in the top left corner to return to device settings. Sync your tracker to save your changes.

Have you tried clearing out all ur messages on the watch? If not,  try it & then go into the app & send a test call to see if that works. If it does then you good👍🏾

I bought my versa in December initially I was able to receive WhatsApp notifications but for reasons it has stopped, I rebooted my app, updated my watch and still no notifications

I don't receive whatsapps/notifications on my fitbit versa (there's a red block on the app saying that I should restart my phone, which I did a thousand times) but I do receive phone calls.

Hi new to versa 3 ,my phone is one plus 5t ,I am getting only calls on my fitbit ,inspite of following the above ,and setting my notification to what's app ,it's not receiving .

It asked me to restart my ph. I have done taht also.

Also how do u get other apps on it.

I've the same problem..

The only way WA notifications would work, it's Uninstalling/reinstalling FitBit app everyday.
