Versa is not recording my full sleep information

My Fitbit Versa is only recording my sleep from 4.30 am in morning and not from when I go to bed.  It has done this now for the last few nights.

A warm welcome to the Community @mike8186.

Is weird to hear that your Versa isn't registering your full sleep, have you tried to restart the watch? If you haven't, I recommend restarting by doing the following:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.

Also, take a look at the What should I know about sleep stages? article for more information and keep in mind that you can always edit this information by following the instructions in the How do I change my sleep history? page.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

I will reset my Versa to see if that helps.  My Versa has started my sleep stages at just before midnight the last few nights - much later than when I actually go to sleep.

Yes, after I reset both iPhone and Versa yesterday, last night’s sleep was recorded accurately.  Thank you!

I reset my versa yesterday as you suggest recorded from 23.56 - 1.24 then from 4.16 - 8.23, better but still missing times.  Was ok at home in UK but seems to have gone wrong since I have been in Florida.  Also will not sync to my Ipad only my iphone.

Those are great news @wtchambers, I am glad to hear that your sleep information is now correct. If you need anything else, let me know.

@mike8186 and @guitarwoman great to see you here. If you haven't tried the instructions provided in my previous post, I recommend taking a look at it and follow the instructions provided. Keep in mind that if your watch isn't syncing properly, your sleep information won't be correct, in this case check the Having trouble syncing? post and follow the steps there.

Let me know how it hoes. Woman Happy

I have been having the same problem since the 32.32.10.15 update on my Versa. I have an iPhone 7 Plus.

I'm also experiencing issues with sleep tracking.  I have tried resetting my Versa, but that does not make any difference.  I've tried adjusting the band, looser and tighter, but that doesn't really seem to make a difference either.  Almost every night, my Versa shows a gap of at least one hour, sometimes more, in my sleep.  It doesn't show that I'm awake, it just shows a gap.  It also stops tracking anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours before I wake up.  I keep having to manually input the sleep gaps on the website, but that isn't giving me an accurate picture of my sleep stages.

I had no problems at all with sleep tracking on my Blaze.  If others are having issues with Versa sleep tracking, perhaps Fitbit should try to address the problem.

Still no change only logged an hour last night and I have already reset it twice.  Have just done so again.  It is syncing to my Iphone fine.  I did not have this problem with my charge 2.  Very disapointing as it was fine up to the begining of May, but has not been working since then.

I had the same problem. I ended up setting sleep sensitivity to sensitive. Seemed to help

When I first purchased my Versa, it was doing the same thing yours is doing except it was recording from 2:30 am for 3 hours. Ensure your sensitivity is set to, “Sensitive.!  It resolved the problem. Now I have a new problem, my Versa did not record my sleep last night?  It’s no good if it misses days. Any suggestions from the Community will be greatly appreciated.

When i first bought my versa 2, sleep was recorded automatically. I hadn't used my versa for 6 months. Now after i fully charged it again after 6 months of no use, the sleep recording does not work.   I just need to know how to fix it.
