Versa is not syncing my activity to my phone

Anything my Versa recorded from 1am Sunday (05/10/2020) till 7:30am Today (05/11/2020) is showing on my Versa but not syncing over to the app.  It stopped recording my sleep at 1 am (05/10/2020).  I have uninstalled reinstalled the app, rebooted my phone x2 and rebooted by Versa x3.  Is this due to the Firmware update and will this be fixed?

Hi @hmb0626, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not syncing your data properly. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch

Finally, monitor your Versa for the next 48 hours and see if it syncs your activities and sleep properly.

@JuanJoFitbit  we've proven this is a FitBit issue and everything you've recommended isn't working. So what is FitBit doing to correct the issue? My watch is only 8 months old and this issue started around the same time as everyone else on here. Restarted it (based on the directions you provided) Uninstalled/reinstalled watch and app. What's next?

I have tried all of this & checked my phone for updates. It's still not syncing. Any other suggestions.

Same thing for my Versa.  About 8 months old, stopped syncing to my phone.  Tried reinstalling the app, restarting the watch, and then tried to do the "restore to factor" from the watch.  Now the watch just sits there.  I cannot do anything with it.  It will not connect, sometimes has the fitbit logo on the screen.  The buttons do nothing. Tried the combinations of buttons.

 

Is it trash at this point?
