Wonder if anyone else has had these problems I have been for a run and my watch is normally about a mile out each time? Having looked at my watch when I set my run it just says connecting and not connected has anyone not any ideas?
thanks

Hi @Hotston, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa since it's not tracking the distance of your run activities accurately.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how your watch tracks your distance traveled. Finally, monitor your Versa for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Regarding the "Connecting" message that doesn't change to "Connected": I had the same experience. Finally I found out that you actually have to have your Fitbit app on your phone open while your Versa is "Connecting". It should then change to "Connected" after a few seconds/minutes. Give that a try, and see if that works.

I have found that, as of iOS release 3.24, you no longer have to make sure the app is in the foreground to initiate a GPS connection when starting the Walk app on the Versa 2.
