Usually my Fitbit has had no problems tracking ( by tracking I mean geologically) (running, walking and cycling) but lately it has been cutting out or dropping off halfway though the exercise, or it never records where I rode, walked or ran. At the start of the year, I was doing lots of running. The Fitbit had no trouble geologically tracking me then. But recently I've started to go for walks with family members. Wanting to track my walk, I set it up just before we head out. But numerous times my Fitbit has recorded all the other stats (footsteps, kms and calories) but not where I walked. I am wondering if because sometimes I don't always follow the path if Fitbit is having trouble tacking me, as it hasn't been mapped out, or whatever. Or if my phone and Fitbit are not communicating properly.

Hi @Smart_Blonde99, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.
I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the it won't track your activities and won't provide a map of your exercises. I totally understand how you feel about this.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, check out and follow the troubleshooting steps listed in this help article which are helpful for this type of issues.
In the meantime, I'd like to share this help page, which explains how to track your exercises with your Fitbit device.
Keep me posted on the outcome.
