Hi there, @DebbieRNC. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out. @JohnnyRow @Guy_ Thanks for your help!
As a first approach please try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Nevertheless, keep in mind that it tracks floors by measuring changes in air pressure through a small hole in the back of the Versa. If this hole becomes blocked then it can cause this problem.
With that being said, please try cleaning it with by following these steps How do I clean my Fitbit device?
Don't forget that Fitbit devices that count floors have a small hole (altimeter sensor) on the back of the device so please don’t insert any items, such as paper clips, into this hole as you can damage your device.
I've moved your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches board for organization purposes.
Hope that helps.

Did it do so formerly, then stop, or has it never counted stairs?
If never, are you sure it is a Versa; Versa Lite is very similar but does not have an altimeter to count stairs.

Hi @DebbieRNC - in addition, if you have a Versa 3 you can use the SimpleFloors app to check out the watch pressure sensor.
If it was working it may only need cleaning, but carefully as it is very delicate like your own ear drum, easily damaged.
