My Versa started continually turning the standard clock screen on and off, night and day.. Watch was taking full charge and the recommend fixes made no difference. Did a full charge and then a factory reset. The watch now will not turn on, even after weeks of trying all the fixes on the forums. The charger has tested ok. When placed on charge, the watch does not vibrate but the screen has faint grey colour, nothing else. Watch was 14 months old, so I am thinking about just calling it quits with Fitbit or any smart watch as it has not been good value.

Hi @stumpedleon, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for all the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation
Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you for your attention. I don't get any heart rate sensors flashing. The device is completely unresponsive. Only get a very, very faint screen grey shade when attempting the restart process.
Have attempted longer variations of the restart with no success.
Have cleaned all charging contacts and even tried another known working charger with no change. Have had the device on charge for days. The device is getting a charge as the screen also shows a very faint grey tinge when the charger is first turned on. Otherwise the watch seems to be dead.

You're welcome @stumpedleon, it's a pleasure for me to continue assisting you.
Based on the information that was shared with me, it seems that the issue is not with the battery of your Versa but the display, this is the reason why the faint gray screen appears. That said, please try our factory reset procedure following the next steps and let me know how it goes:
Just keep in mind that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

I am thinking the same.

I have performed the factory reset procedure as described, holding all 3 buttons at once 10 - 12 seconds (and even much longer) many times with absolutely nothing happening. No screen of any type and no vibrations. Watch was charged.

Yes - I did the same.. I think there must be a huge issue with the Versas 😞
Good luck on getting a replacement if possible. That is the issue I am dealing with now.

Watch was 14 months old, and it is now completely dead and nothing is fixing it, so I am thinking about just calling it quits with Fitbit or any smart watch as it has not been good value.
If there is ever another smart watch for me, it definitely will not be a fitbit.
