This is the third Versa I've had in the last 12 months. It's supposed to be water resistant, but today my third one died and I discovered there is water behind the sensor on the bottom of the face.
I followed all the protocols to avoid issues with water, but it turns out that's still not enough to keep the water out.
I Dragon boat, which is less water time than swimming and it still can't survive.....
Does anyone know if the Charge 3 has the same problem?
It's annoying to not have it work as advertised......

Because I am past warranty on my Fitbit they will not replace the Versa. And I can't afford to replace it, even with a coupon code.
Kind of a rip off. I'm going to save my pennies for the next little while and get a Samsung instead

@SunsetRunner Welcome! It's great to see you around!
Let me help you with your Versa device. You should be able to use your Versa to swim so this activity you describe shouldn't damage it. Still if you have any issues please let our Support team know. I noticed that you already have a ticket with them so keep working with them to find a solution.
Let me know how it goes.

Agreed. I will likely be going elsewhere for a fitness tracker as well for this same reason. These devices are too expensive to be replacing so often. Especially since they break even when you do everything they suggest.
