My versa won’t track sleep, remind me to move, measure heart rate, notify me of texts and calls. It has basically become and expensive pedometer. I have an IPhone 8. Everything worked great but one by one things stopped working.

Hi @Janetf01 Try restarting it several times. If that doesnt get it working then do a Factory Reset. If that doesnt help then you will need to contact Support
VERSA FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up. Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

It’s the same with my versa as well. I’ve contacted customer service 3 times in 2 weeks almost. Because I love my Fitbit and I love tracking my heart rate so I know when I’m stressed lolol. Earlier today, I requested to know if it this is my versa only or a versa bug. They informed me “The issue that you have notice is a bug. We’re aware of this issue, but may not be able to provide a fix in the near future. We'll continue to monitor the situation and keep our team informed of its impact.“

Before doing a factory reset, please try a complete Shutdown that is found under help then about on the tracker. Holding in the button or putting it on its powered charger should turn it on.

The factory reboot and restarting the Fitbit several times isn’t going to fix it. It’s a known bug without a timeline to be resolved. Although I would recommend reporting it to Fitbit. I guess more people report it maybe it’ll get fixed or not. I could say not because I just heard from two of my coworkers they encountered the same thing recently after the holidays and just bought a different brand fit watch.
