My fit bit has been on resting heart rate for over 16 hrs. I even went on a bike ride. Why?

@TammSomm It's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with the issue that your Versa is experiencing since it's stuck on resting heart rate.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. After this, make sure that your Versa is not being worn too tight.
Finally, monitor your tracker for the next 24 hours and see if your heart rate is tracked properly.
Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀

So what was the resolve here? I would like to know because I seem to be having the same issue. I have only had this Versa for about 3 weeks, only the resting heart rate has been showing now for about 5 or 6 days. I have restarted the device multiple times, as well as did a factory reset. I have turned the heart rate setting off and on several times. This is quite frustrating! Thank God my Charge 2, that I have had for 3 years, is still working like a champ. I only upgraded to because I was having to charge my Charge 2 every other night, unfortunately, I've had to charge the versa every single night. Well, I take that back in the first week, it went 2.5 days without charging, then I charged it and it did the same exact thing. After that, I just started wearing both device, one on each arm daily and I just charge the Versa every single night because I know it's gonna die. Therefore, it has really never been able to grab my sleep stats because it's always dead. On Saturday, 6/20/2020, I realized I had to try and fix it. I then began to follow the advice from the forums, resetting repeatedly, checking every heart rate setting, closing and opening the fitbit app. After I did the factory reset yesterday and then installed it back to my phone, still no heart rate. I'm extremely disappointed and ready to send this back. The last thing I'm going to try today is uninstalling Fitbit and reinstalling it.
