Versa is only showing the logo

My versa needed an update last week, and I tried to sync and complete the update. But instead it didn't work so I left it on the side and its battery got depleted. Now I'm trying to charge it but the versa is only showing the fitbit logo on the screen. I've tried to restart it, shut it down, and I've tried the steps of pressing the back button and the side keys. What do I do?

Hi @Taleen, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the screen issue that your Versa has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get it resolved before contacting our forums. I understand how you feel about this.

Regarding the factory reset process, make sure that you followed the steps in the following order:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. After this, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Tried all the steps. First, the logo disappeared but when I released the button, it didn't vibrate. I did this process 3-4 times with no results. The screen still shows the logo and it isn't charging.

Hi @Taleen, thank you for trying the steps shared above. Since you mentioned that your Versa is not charging, please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it charges properly and goes beyond the Fitbit logo.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
