Why does my versa read a heart beat when I’m not wearing it??

Hello @Eric0102 and welcome to the Help forums.  All of the heart rate devices look at light that is reflected back from the upper layers of the skin where there are tiny blood vessels.  The green LEDs should turn off when you take your Versa off.  From time to time, I notice that those lights don't turn off if the band is in a certain position.  The programming tries to "make sense" of the light that is reflected back and records it as a heart beat that isn't there.
