Got my Versa yesterday and so far I am loving it. The only issue I have is I wasn't getting text notifications or anything so I went into the Fitbit app and it said I still needed to pair my phone and Fitbit, it is syncing fine but it just doesn't want to connect. I have a pair of headphones connected to my Fitbit and they work fine so I just don't understand why it isn't connecting to my phone.

Same exact problem! I used to get texts just fine, but now I don't. I get all of my other notifications without any issue.

This is exactly what I'm experiencing. I have the .15 firmware update, using my Samsung Galaxy S7 with Messages+. I was getting duplicate notifications before the firmware update but now I am getting normal notifications except for text notifications(which I am getting zero of). This has been quite upsetting and I feel rather silly clutching my cellphone at all times to know when I receive a text instead of just being able to check my Versa. Please help!

I don't know if this will help anyone or not. I previously was also not receiving text messages notifications when I first got my Versa. I had issues on my S7 and was due for a new phone so I got an S9. I still was not receiving notifications. My husband also got a new phone, so we were comparing some of our settings. I made a change to my Message+ setting that ever since has allowed notifications to come through. I went into my phone Settings and selected Notifications. I selected Message+. I selected New message notifications and changed it to Urgent with Vibrate selected. I then went back a screen and selected New Messages and did the same thing there. This happened to also be the same day that there was an app update. I am not 100% certain if it was the app update or the steps I took above. Worth a try, but no guarantees it will help or not. I know how frustrating it was not receiving my notifications, so thought I'd try and help out if possible. Good luck and fingers crossed mine doesn't stop again. Every once and awhile I start receiving notifications, so I restart my Versa and Bluetooth and after I do that it starts receiving notifications again.

I don't have the option to select "New message notifications" in either the Messages+ settings or on my phone's notification settings so I'm not sure how to do what you're suggesting (I also have the S7, running nougat 7.0).
I did enable notification when using Wi-Fi or Cellular for Messages+ inside the Message+ app settings and I received a notification to my Versa that Messages+ is connected over Wi-Fi which is strange considering I am still not receiving text notifications to my Versa.

I think we are all wasting our time trying to fix the issue. This is the reply I received from a recent email to customer support.
Regarding the issue with text notifications, we would like to share with you that this is an issue in which we are currently working to get it solved. The fix should be either through a new update or directly through our system. We have already exhausted all the steps that could have been done from your side. Rest assured we will do our best so you can get back to enjoy of the text notifications feature. We have pass the information of this case to the team in charge of the research to get it fix so they can have all the information needed. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Yes - this is exactly where everyone is. Hopefully our friends and Fitbit see the discontent from all of us and prioritize this fix accordingly.

Hi there everyone, my apologies for the late response and thank you for reporting this issue.
I saw some of you are having the notifications issues with Message+. Note that we are aware and working on this to have a fix as soon as possible. You might prefer to review our dedicated thread, for future updates and progress on this: Not receiving Message+ notifications after update.
If the issue has been with notifications in general and are not working, please make sure to try the suggestions from our help article: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone.
Make sure the notifications has not reset itself to the default settings after the update. I saw these reports from other users.
Since majority of this, is related to Message+. I'm going to proceed to close this thread to maintain the focus of the main issue. For more details, refer to the post I have shared before.
