My Fitbit Versa is tracking steps while sleeping! Very frustrating! It’s been going on for a month now!

How many steps? You may want to provide more detail via examples/numbers and by taking a close look at the steps/15min interval displays (steps tile on mobile app -> click on top graph that shows the data). This will tell when exactly these steps were acumulated, it may give some (surprising) insights.

Are you wearing your watch while sleeping? If not, where are you placing it? If you are wearing it, keep in mind that the watch might register some steps depending on your hand movements.
