I have worn my new Fitbit for about 6 hours, it says I’ve done 13 flights of stairs. I have no stairs in my house and haven’t left the house, why is it saying this?

@AVAdamson Welcome to the forums! Trackers that count flights of stairs have an altimeter that senses a change in barometric pressure. There are a few things that can give you false floor counts. A common one is gusty, windy weather. Few houses are 100% tight -- I once got 28 flights in one day, when the actual number was closer to 5. Another reason is having your tracker in just the right (or wrong) place opening a door.
If these explanations don't seem to fit, then try restarting your tracker.
