Versa is unable to finish an update.

I have a versa. On my watch face I only have the time, date, and battery showing. Everything else is blank, however it is on my app. I have tried every forum answer on completing the updating process. It will not update past 98%. I’ve disconnected, uninstalled, removed from Bluetooth, made sure I’m not on 5ghz WiFi, over 15 times. My app continues just to show downloading and installing and never going past 98% Will I ever be able to use this Fitbit again? Again I’ve seen all the previous forum topics and none of it works. Everything worked fine until I tried to update. Yes my device works with this watch. It’s an Apple 6s.

Hello @Tabbey388 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. 😄

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. I would like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far in hopes to resolve this issue. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to perform a factory reset on your Versa, then set up the Versa in your account again in order to force the update to finish.

Note that a factory reset will delete all the information in your Versa, personal settings and apps you have installed, so I would like to suggest you to sync the Versa (if possible) before trying the following:

On your device, open the Settings app > About Factory Reset or Clear User Data.

After that, plug in your Versa, make sure it's charging and that it's near your router and start the set up:

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device.
  2. Open the Fitbit app and tap on the Account symbol at the top right corner of the screen, then tap on "Set up a New Device"
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue
  4. When the app asks you to replace your current tracker, please replace it and continue with the process.
  5. When a pop-up appears asking you to Pair your tracker to your device, tap on Pair and continue.

When finishing the set up, you will be asked to update your Versa, please do and let us know how it goes. If you're still having trouble please reply to us so we can check this further.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, have a great day!
