Versa isn't reading my heart rate

So i have recently had my fitbit versa face front replaced due to a battery issue 

now my fitbit after having it for 4 months from replacement

1. battery only last 3 days not even again 

2.my heart rate isnt being read , there is no light flashing or even on under my watch 

and my heart rate blinks between '--' and 79 or 119 every second , it just blinks 

i must say this is very frustrating and disappointing that this is now happening for the second time 

I have troubleshooted it , ive reset it back to factory settings , ive restarted it numerous times, my heart rate settings are set to on, of which i have switched it on and off with a device restart as stated and still NOTHING.....

what do i do now?

@KiraPenton it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Versa stopped tracking your heart rate and the battery doesn't last as long as it should. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps mentioned before contacting our forums.

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they sent you an email with some instructions. Please check out your email account in order to proceed accordingly.
