What is going on with the sleep tracker all of a sudden? The Versa was tracking my sleep wonderfully until about a week or two ago. Now it either doesn't track or says I've been up for hours during the night, which I know isn't correct. My Samsung Gear 2 never had this problem. Was there an update that I wasn't aware of that's messed this up? I'm about to send this watch back and go with another brand. This was a big part as to why I bought this. Nothing has changed in how I've been wearing it. What's happened? Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey @Eccentricgrrl, great to see you here.
There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:
Let me know how it goes.

I’m having the same issue, no sleep is being tracked at all and I have not attempted the log sleep mode.

It's frustrating. I'll go for a stretch of time where it starts tracking again, then all of a sudden there's nothing.

I’m having the same problem. I wear the watch as instructed but it doesn’t track my sleep at all or it only tracks for a couple of hours. If I tell it to track my sleep through the app it works but you only get that limited graph. I’ve only had the Versa for about a week, so I’m not impressed. I had the charge 2 before and it worked great. This is obviously a Versa problem and it needs to be fixed

Fitbit isn't really acknowledging there might be a problem. This is the vibe that I am getting from my emails with them. I have tried their recommendations, with the exception of the 'begin sleep now', because I should not have to do that. It should work. I may not consider them for my next device.

Looks like mine stopped tracking accurately shortly after these posts. It tracks as though I was awake for hours throughout the night. It's frustrating.

I also upgraded from the Charge 2 and actually miss it. I am having the same issue with my Versa since I got it only a month ago, my sleep tracking is all over the place and I've done all the troubleshooting to no avail.
I'm rather frustrated by Fitbit as far as listening to their customers. Its time to update the app, add more options for challenges, and many other things. Fitbit, read your customer forums and accommodate!

I'd love a good solution. Shutting down didn't work.

Same issue. Stopped on Sunday. Restart didn't work for me either.

The begin sleep now is useless, It starts as soon as you hit the button and says you went down for the count THEN

This is definitely a Versa software issue that is popping up for many.
Versa please look into

My sleep tracker and heart rate tracker stopped working 2 days ago. All was fine. Took Fitbit off to charge. Now they don’t work at all. The versa is 2 months old 😞
