Versa isn't tracking my sleep

What is going on with the sleep tracker all of a sudden? The Versa was tracking my sleep wonderfully until about a week or two ago. Now it either doesn't track or says I've been up for hours during the night, which I know isn't correct. My Samsung Gear 2 never had this problem. Was there an update that I wasn't aware of that's messed this up? I'm about to send this watch back and go with another brand. This was a big part as to why I bought this. Nothing has changed in how I've been wearing it. What's happened? Anyone else experiencing this?

Then I believe you don't have the Fitbit versa

The same thing is happening to me.  I have talked with Fitbit numerous times and they only tell me things I have already tried.  Useless!

The new Versa2 only has 1 button.

I have the old versa with 3 buttons, so can’t help too much. If I had to guess, you still might try a reset, which would mean holding down that button. For how long or if there’s a particular method I don’t know. Search for a soft reset topic in self help or community. Like so many other modern companies, fitbit doesn’t provide much hands on support for their products. Otherwise i would dm them on twitter or facebook and make a public stink if you don’t get a reply that is responsive. Sometimes the right hand doesn’t know what left hand is doing— marketing and communication v support. Good Luck to you.

Thank you. I knew I only had one button but the previous responder told me I didn't have a Versa... It's crazy how it registers my sleep most nights and then it doesn't for a few nights.

You may need to adjust where you have it on your wrist, also, you might want to clean the area that comes in contact with your skin with alcohol/lens cleaner- not sure it’s recommended. When i had issues just a month or two after getting the versa, it simply stopped tracking until I found solution. It wasn't an intermittent problem. I hope this helps, stay safe. Good luck.

Thanks Loucalmille

I tried wearing in higher on my wrist and it did work last night. A total of 3 fingers above the wrist bone.  Will try again tonight and see. Here's hoping
