Versa isn't waterproof.

Went camping and swimming last weekend. My Versa started tracking my heart rate way higher than it should've been starting on Monday. Then it wasn't accurately tracking my stairs the next day. The day after that, the screen went out and the battery started to drain rapidly and all of my notification settings were different. A couple days later I could use the left side of the screen so I thought things were working again. Yesterday my screen went out completely. I called support, they had me restart it, and now it doesn't work at all. I can see water on the back of it. They offered me 25%off a new one. What a joke. Why would I ever buy another product from a company that claims their device is waterproof when clearly, it's not. What a scam!!

I haven't had any trouble in literally hours of pool swimming per week since I got mine last year. It is true, it is not completely waterproof (don't dive down at all with it to the bottom of the lake or pool), but it does work. BTW - the heart rate sensor doesn't work in the water because it doesn't have the right contact with your skin (and it's natural salt in sweat) when you are swimming. And you should always, always rinse and dry it completely whenever you are in water that isn't at least drinking water purity.
