I’ve just moved from a Blaze 2 to a Versa and it either won’t sync or when it does it keeps disconnecting from my iPhone 8. I’ve tried the turning off, re-installation, etc etc and it is still not working properly. Can anyone help?

Hi, if it is, try the following:
1. Before you're starting the suggestions, just a warning: do not remove or unpair your Versa from the Fitbit app on your phone.
2. Deinstall the Fitbit app on your phone
3. Restart your phone and wait a few secs.
4. Reinstall the Fitbit app on your phone and, of course, enable BT.
5. Restart your Versa 4-5 times in a row by pressing the left and right lower buttons together untill the Fitbit logo shows and release the buttons.
6. Sync your Versa with your iPhone and see whether your problem is solved. Good luck!!

Is your blaze still connecting to your Fitbit app?
If it is, I suggest removing it. Then, restart your phone and see if that fixes it.

Thanks for your help. It seems to be working now, but it doesn’t seem stable. I’m hoping that Fitbit will recognise that there is an issue and send out an update to fix it without having to go through the turn it off, turn it on, sync it, etc, etc every day.

This is so annoying. The Versa has been working fine all day, syncing with my iPhone 8 and then this evening it’s not connecting. I’ve tried the turning off, uninstalling and reinstalling and it still won’t connect. I just get ‘looking’ when I try to sync and ‘not connected’ to the Bluetooth, although it does occasionally flash to connected. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem or should I give up and return the watch?

Is it paired to the Bluetooth device? Or are you just refreshing each time?
Have you tried going into Bluetooth settings and “forget this device” and re-pair the Fitbit?

I’ve done the forget the device and done a factory reset and the versa still won’t sync with my phone even though the Bluetooth is on.
