Versa keeps losing gps signal, isnt counting steps & data

I've been out hiking for the past few months and my versa isn't keeping the GPS signal and isn't recording data on my hikes. Today I was out started my hike as normal on my watch and also recorded on all trails app. The time kept going but it only said I'd hiked 5.45km when I actually hiked 19.1km and only counted around 8000 steps where as we had done at least 28000 

Can anyone help as it worked fine a last month but then didn't even store the data from My hike 3 weeks ago.
