Versa keeps resetting & won’t sync to phone

A few days ago i stopped getting any sort of notifications to my Fitbit so I thought I’d factory restart in the hope that if I set it all up as new it’ll work but it hasn’t, infact I’m having a couple of new problems:

-Every 5 minutes my Fitbit keeps going to a black screen and then the Fitbit logo shows (resetting itself).

- When I swipe down on the Fitbit app to sync it all it says device not found and it keeps connecting and then disconnecting on my phone Bluetooth.

 

Can anyone help?

Hi @RThornhill, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since it won't sync with your phone and it keeps resetting every 5 minutes.

 

In order to avoid providing the same information, let me know if the factory reset was performed as instructed below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup 
  5. Set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed
