Versa keeps unpairing from my Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Versa 1 Disappears from App Daily.  On a near daily basis I have to re-add my Versa smart watch to the Fitbit app.

It is quite frustrating.

My wife also has a Versa and the exact same model phone (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE). However she doesn't have this issue.

Both my phone and the watch have been rebooted multiple times since this issue started.

Can you clarify "disappears from the app"?  Do you mean it's as if  you have never connected any device to the app, and there us no data or information at all?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi there, @Webmetz. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa before reaching out.

I was wondering the same as @JohnnyRow, is your Versa actually disconnecting from your phone's Bluetooth?

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Versa from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa.
  • Once your Versa is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I tried that.

My Fitbit remained connected for days.

However...I woke up this morning with a unfamiliar Clock Face on my Fitbit and it being disconnected from my app.

This happened before as well, but with a different clock the other time.

Sometimes I have an unfamiliar Clock face or app installed when I wake up.
