Versa kilometers information inaccurate

My Versa tracks less Kms than the app on my phone. Bizarrely the same exercise is logged twice once by phone at 5.5k the other by Versa at 4.3k with different average speeds. Any ideas?

Yes I will at some point get a Apple Watch. The whole point of upgrading my fitbit was so I didn't have to carry my phone. It won't even link to my headphones so no matter how much music I upload I can't hear it!

Overall a nice looking watch but I didn't want a watch I wanted a Fitbit that accurately measured my distances.
Interestingly I can log a run on my watch and also on the app - so double log the distance etc. I did t think that was doable!
Very disappointed with the Versa and won't be recommending to anyone, in the fact complete opposite.

Hi, how come when my Versa syncs with my phone and I do a run on Strava the distance is a lot shorter? I ran today on a run which is 9km on Strava on my phone but today it’s 8.2km via my watch, why? Starting to get quite frustrated with my Versa.

A warm welcome to the Community @Pugra and @Fatboy-r-slim it's great to have you here.

If you are seeing that your kilometers information isn't being accurate, I recommend verifying your stride length information. To check this, you need to follow the instructions provide in this post and then test your watch.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

Hi

I've lengthened my stride length but it still is leaving me short, 500 mtrs
on a 6km run. I'm finding the versa very frustrating and a complete let
down. All I wanted was a watch that is accurate and so I could leave my
phone at home. Have to take my phone with me so what is the point of the
versa? Might as well just take my phone, that's accurate. Feel like I've
wasted my money completely. How the watch is advertised it only tells half
a story on what it can do. Gutted

Changed my stride on versa, made no difference. I have to say I'm really disappointed with versa, I thought it would be an upgrade but it isn't.

i have put music on it but it won't link to head phones also.

I feel I have been let down, almost conned , I would advise anyone looking to buy one to avoid doing so, buy something else instead
