Dear fitbit, my Fitbit versa just stopped working today and has water leaking from between the edge of the screen and the rose gold edging. This is very annoying and not what I expected from a watch that claims to be waterproof! I only use it for water work on a Saturday and this is at the top of the water level, I do not dive under with it. I’ve tried charging it all day to see if it was a dead battery but nothing. Not what I expect after only having it for a year!

My Fitbit Versa also started leaking water from the edge of the screen today. What I find super disappointing is that Fitbit just say it’s out of warranty so tough luck! It’s kinda bad really since I have bought fit-bits since 2014. I’d expect it to last linger really, or are fit-bits a disposable item now and only built to last max 2 years? I’m super disappointed with it all, it’s not like it’s a cheap imitation product, they are over £150 new.

Same thing happened to mine just this few days. In North America they have only 1 yr warranty for the same product amd mine is at 1 yr and 5 months. It felt that the device is not as up to par for water resistant as advertised and super disappointing as i have been fitbit user for over 5 yrs. Do not think I trust the product to get another one at that price tag.
