This is the third Versa I have had, the first two were replaced because they stopped working. I replaced my old Charge with the Versa because it stopped working. Now the lights on the back of the 3rd Versa aren’t on or blinking and I have tried restarting several times as well as a factory reset, all with no luck. The battery life keeps getting very low or going out after only one or two days. The only info in the forums is all people having the same problems with no answers. Currently it won’t track my heartbeat, my 1 hour workouts are recorded as 9 minutes every time I use the exercise section of the watch, my steps today keep changing, and my sleep isn’t recorded. At this point I’m ready to just switch to an Apple Watch because clearly Fitbit has issues they can’t or won’t fix and I’m soooooo frustrated. My husbands Charge also quit working and he replaced it with a Versa as well. Can anyone assist with this or is this another piece of electronic equipment that will help fill up a landfill?

Seems like this is a common issue. Possibly due to a recent update, if it was working before.
In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

When it stopped working I updated it and then did the factory reset after restarting so I’m not sure what it is but it’s really frustrating.

If you did a factory reset it is now like a new watch out of the box, so it has to be installed again in the Fitbit App.
In the phone Fitbit App Click on profile photo [top left] Click on + Set up a Device Follow the installation instructions |
