Versa lite acting up and won’t pair

Versa Lite has been acting strange since the last update. Active minutes has not been accurate for last few runs. 98 min for a 45 min run. Notifications haven’t been going through correctly.

 

The time was slow today and was having a hard time syncing to my iPhone SE. So I tried holding the button for 10 seconds. Didn’t help.

Went into settings and restarted. Didn’t help.

Turned off my phone blue tooth and back on.
Turned phone off and on.


I then deleted The device from the app. And now I can’t get the Versa Lite to pair. I can get a number to type in but then get an error code.

 

Its not my phone because I tried pairing my old charge 2 and it paired and has synced already.

Hello @Gej5605. you tell us that the Fitbit app is having a problem talking to your tracker. Now that the tracker has been removed from your Fitbit account and we know that the Fitbit app can not talk to the tracker, we also know that we will not be able to setup the tracker to your Fitbit account. 

Yes removing a non syncing tracker from a Fitbit account should never be done. It will only add multiple more issues. 

 

Let's first look at the tips for a non syncing tracker. Since we still have to fix the sync issue.

Try the tip to clear the apps cache. 

 

Once the sync issue has been fixed we will be able to setup the Versa to your Fitbit account. 

 

The first step is to remove the Bluetooth pair by removing the Versa Light from the phones Bluetooth
