Versa lite doesn’t record full distance ran

I use strava separately from Fitbit because Fitbit is so unreliable and keeps stopping. I ran 10miles but only recorded 3. Yet strava had no problems with gps signal. Also, strava still records the Fitbit data when they’re no longer linked. I’m beginning to wonder what’s the point with the versa really. I am doing a virtual half marathon and I don’t trust the Fitbit to record it at all, let alone accurately.

Hi @Judar are you using GPS with the resulting map of the run? Have you setup your stride?

If you track with Strava and Fitbit, if the Fitbit data syncs to Strava you will see 2 records of your run in both Fitbit and Strava.

Came here to post exactly that. Have been noticing discrepancy in data that my Versa 2 is recording while walking and running. And here’s the proof - versa 2 says I walked 5.1km, Strava says 5.6km, also started Strava 2 mins later than Fitbit. I don’t have Strava app synced with my versa

Did Fitbit give you a map.

I turned gps off today to see if it made any difference as previous walks have been way off the mark as well. I run and walk regularly so know my area and distances. It’s not a one off. Will have gps on for tomorrow’s walk for further evidence.
