Versa lite won’t stay connected

I can check Bluetooth and my versa lite says connected but as soon as I open my Fitbit app it disconnects. I can’t update any of my info.  This started after watch said I needed an update and then my battery died.  When the battery was full my watch was completely disconnected and I had to reset it. Now I can’t stay connected.
