Versa lite won't turn on without charger

I've had my versa lite for about 7 months and in the last day it started randomly turning off and not turning back on without the charger. As I was walking, I hit it on something and now it shows absolutely no charge if not connected to the charger. I tried to factory reset it, but it still won't show any charge when not connected.
