Versa losing connection from my phone

I have had my versa for a year and a half now, it keeps losing connection from my phone, does this happen to anyone else? I quit using it for a while because it became so annoying and went to my Apple watch. I started using the Versa again about a month ago and today it has lost connection again......is there something I can do to keep this from happening?
