Wore my new Versa to the gym the last few days. It is consistently 4 miles less than the mileage calculated on the treadmill (Yes, I tried different machines).
I walked with a friend who has a Samsung Gear and when we compare our mileage it is also 4 miles less than hers consistently. Anyone else with this issue and how I can fix it? I just don't know if I can trust the step count and mileage both in and out of the gym which is one of the major reasons I wanted this Versa!

Hey @SunsetRunner, a warm welcome to the Community.
Fitbit trackers can potentially miss some information while you're exercising on a treadmill, since you might be holding on to the bars. Also, keep in mind that you are not covering an exact distance because you are not moving forward, so your mileage information might be different too.
If you haven't measure your stride length information, I suggest taking a look at this post and follow the instructions provided there to do so and then test your Versa.
Let me know the outcome.

Any solution to the steps to mileage being way off?
I have tried everything including calling Fitbit and doing a factory reset.
Next step will be to return it. Love that i can swim with it, but the Blaze was way more accurate!
