Today my versa says I have done 4.79 miles so far but the circle is not closed. But my miles activity goal is set as 4.5 miles so the circle should be closed. I've tried changing the activity goal and I've tried uninstalling the app.
Any ideas - I'm a bit obsessed about all my circles closing every day!

@Rich_Laue Idk why people keep coming onto the post and suggesting to do things that have no rhyme or reason when it comes to the circles. I am not the only one having this problem. Some people keep coming on here complaining about other things like there sleep and steps and all I want fixed is my miles ring/circle whatever you want to call it. It was being looked into and they told us to do an update but it did not fix the problem. K just want everything to work. I paided money for the fitbit. I even pay for the premium app. I know the company is probably busy but I would think after a couple months something could have happened

I was having the same problem and then took the advice in this thread which fixed it. If you sign into your account on the computer and go in to the dashboard you can change it there. Find your daily goals and hit the little settings icon that pops up under it, Mine were set to the wrong amount on there and when i changed it and saved it, it updated on my app and fitbit.

Has there been any word on when this bug will be fixed?? I still can not get my miles ring to close on my dashboard, no matter how far I've exceeded my goal. This has been going on for months!

Android 10, Charge 3, same issue. Not surprised because I've had no end of issues with the Fitbit app for Android. Mileage goal set to 5 miles but circle doesn't complete even after doing 6 or 7 miles! Obviously still not fixed 😒

Go to Activity and divide your distance goal by 1.609 and enter that number. My distance goal is 7 miles, so I entered 4.35 miles and my circle fills up right on schedule! 😁. I have an Ionic bu this may also work for Versa. 💪🏾👍🏽

Thanks for that!
Yeah, can confirm not working with my Fitbit Sense on Android either.
The website dashboard doesn't seem to be tracking my miles or active zone minutes properly from my app. It's super messy and frustrating. Hoping this gets fixed as it's clearly an issue across the board.
Thanks all! 🙂

Super disappointing to find out that this issue has been going on for 7 months now. Just got a new Charge 4 and I can confirm the issue still persists.

Is this circle really on the tracker, or on the phone?
We do know that this is an ongoing problem with the Fitbit app.

The circle as shown in previous post is on the app.
Also miles not correct. I have almost 10000 steps and 3 miles. Meanwhile an average ratio is 2000 steps to 1 mile

2000 steps per mile is for a stride of 32 inches or 2 feet 8 inches. What is your stride set at? 1 foot 7 inches?
How tall or you @Srtalisa smaller people have a shorter stride.
As for the circle, this has been an ongoing issue with the Android App, not with the tracker.

Ive been seeing this same issue since I got my Versa 2 tracker last year. My miles circle on both the app AND tracker do not close, no matter the goal or the display option on the tracker screen. I do have an android, but it seems to not just be an app issue as the tracker itself does it even if I do NOT sync to the app. Ive done multiple basic troubleshooting steps such as reboots, app removal and redownload, changing goals and stride lengths without resolution. My older versa lite did not have this issue.

I noticed that when I went to my dashboard on fitbit.com and checked my miles, it showed like 8.85 instead of the 5.5 that I set it at. When I corrected that, my rings closed and my watch reflected that I had met my goal. But when I went to look at my weekly activity, it was showing that my goal was 3.4.

Thanks. It did the trick. My app was set to one goal and the online site was set to another.
